The discussions focused on using AI-driven analytics and integrated government databases to improve tax compliance, enhance governance and support evidence-based policy decisions. <strong>Technology-driven compliance and revenue reforms</strong> The proposed reforms include AI-powered Goods and Services Tax (GST) analytics to identify potential tax leakages and improve compliance. The government is also examining reforms in GST, Excise and other revenue streams to strengthen the state's finances. Officials are considering integrating data from departments including Municipal Administration, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Panchayat Raj, Electricity, Finance and Commercial Taxes.
