Its long-range capability will increase cargo capacity on this important route.</p> <h3 data-section-id="sfkwy4" data-start="1008" data-end="1058">Airport focuses on technology and pharma cargo</h3> <p data-start="1060" data-end="1205">Kadhir Kadhiravan, CEO of GMR <a href="https://x.com/SkyHYD/status/2084610564047921308?s=20">Hyderabad</a> International Airport Ltd., called the new service an important step in the airport's cargo growth plans.</p> <p data-start="1207" data-end="1673">"The introduction of Emirates SkyCargo's dedicated Boeing 777 Freighter service on the Taipei–Hyderabad–Dubai corridor is a significant milestone in Hyderabad Airport's cargo growth journey. The new service will support the movement of servers and other high-value technology equipment. The route connects major technology and manufacturing hubs. It offers a secure, reliable and time-sensitive logistics solution for critical digital infrastructure cargo," he said.</p> <p data-start="1675" data-end="1890">He said Hyderabad Airport continues to invest in cargo facilities, digital systems and specialised handling services. Through continued investments in infrastructure, partnerships and network connectivity, GMR Aero Cargo & Logistics remains committed to enabling faster, more efficient and reliable cargo movement across global supply chains," he said.</p> <h3 data-section-id="1lfsa1t" data-start="2416" data-end="2473">Dubai hub connects Hyderabad to over 145 destinations</h3> <p data-start="2475" data-end="2704">According to GMR, the new route links Taipei's electronics and semiconductor industry with Hyderabad's pharmaceutical, life sciences and technology sectors. Dubai offers onward connections to more than 145 destinations worldwide.</p> <p data-start="2706" data-end="3026">Hyderabad Airport has dedicated pharma handling facilities and temperature-controlled logistics. It also offers cold-chain systems, multimodal transport links and AI-based security. Other features include secure storage for high-value cargo, RFID-based tracking and real-time shipment updates through a WhatsApp chatbot.</p> <p data-start="3028" data-end="3244">The airport also provides round-the-clock temperature monitoring in its Pharma Zone. Automated storage systems and temperature tracking help protect sensitive shipments. These measures also reduce cargo waiting time.</p> <p data-start="3246" data-end="3508">The Emirates SkyCargo service joins Hyderabad Airport's existing freighter network. Lufthansa Cargo, Turkish Cargo, Qatar Cargo and Ethiopian Cargo already operate from the airport. Together, they connect Hyderabad with Frankfurt, Istanbul, Doha and Addis Ababa.</p> <p data-start="3510" data-end="3732">Airport officials said the expanded cargo network will help Hyderabad respond to changing trade patterns.
