Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge shared a humorous moment with supporters during the INDIA bloc's 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when he jokingly warned the crowd that his five-minute speech could turn into an hour-long address if they did not remain quiet. While addressing the gathering, Kharge was repeatedly interrupted by enthusiastic supporters shouting slogans and making noise. Pausing his speech, the Congress chief said, "Dekho aap agar chup baithenge, main 5 minute mein apna bhaashan khatam kar raha hoon. Aap chup nahi baithenge, main 1 ghanta apna bhaashan karunga."
